Evaluation: Question 3 - What have you learnt from your audience feedback?



Positives
  • I found it really funny.
  • See where he has compared it to existing comedy trailers.
  • Music works really well.
  • Poster is relevant to what happens in the trailer.
  • Poster is colourful and looks appropriate.
  • I really like the title, you could imagine being a real film.
  • The quotes from the magazine look realistic.
  • The image on the magazine is still funny and relevant.


Improvements
  • I can't think of anything I would improve, it is all good.




Positives
  • First impression you can already see it is a comedy.
  • The font colours were effective.
  • The photos throughout the products are good.
  • The Character types are effective.
  • The trailer is good because it has a variation of shots.
  • The music is also brilliant.


Improvements
  • The fonts appear slightly basic, they need to be 'Jazzed' up a bit.




Positives
  • Liked the music and intertitles.
  • They liked when the music comes on for intertitles.
  • Really like the change in music.
  • The last shot was loved by all three.
  • The liked how all the images were different throughout the products.
  • They found the taglines 'Follow the Journey" effective".
  • The range of colours makes it not look to plain.


Improvements
  • The barcode on the magazine looks to obvious and doesn't contrast well with the white background.




Positives
  • It's clear what type of genre it is.
  • Character similarities with 'Will' in "The Inbetweeners" and 'Cedric' in "My 18th Road Trip".
  • The trailer's intertitles, music and humour was good.
  • The continuity of colours is all good throughout the products. They are quite vibrant feature a lot which is good.
  • The conventions are all good and noticeable.

Improvements
  • Couldn't think of any improvements.

  • The trailer was enjoyable to watch and reminded us of "The Inbetweeners".
  • Quite long but the comedy in it kept it going.
  • Good storyline.
  • Does appeal to the teenager target audience.
  • The colour scheme makes it obvious it is a mainstream magazine.
  • The poster was funny and suited the trailer.
  • You can see all the character stereotypes clearly.

  • The characters are really good and stereotypical. Similar to 'The Inbetweeners".

  • The logos are also present and professional looking.
  • The film magazines image is professional and the alinement is clear.

  • Can't be flawed.

  • Completely supports the genre because of the and music.
  • Costume and dialogue also supports the genre really intertitles well.
  • All the products work together as a promotional package.
  • Different characters I clear to the audience.
  • The sound matches each shot and emphasises the title 'My 18th Road Trip'.
